New Topic - Benjamin Slote, Holme , marriage info

Hi Wonder if anyone can help me. I have not been on here for many years so its a bit new to me again!  Im looking for a marriage of a Benjamin Slote to a lady called Sarah Stokes. Benjamin was born abt 1832 as he has been found on the 1841 census aged 35 years old.
Any information would be a great help.

A think there may be a muddle here.. Benjamin could not be aged 35 in 1841 if you believe he was
born in 1832.  Have you found him with Sarah ? There is a Benjamin Sloate [sic] aged 35  (1806) with wife Elizabeth living at Holme Farm, Holme, Peterborough.

Do you have any further details for Benjamin i.e. where he may have been born ? occupation ? anything further would help find him

Benjamin SLOTE and Sarah STOKES married 22 Feb 1832 Holme, Huntingdonshire, England.

Looks like Sarah died before 1841 census as then there is this marriage

Benjamin Slote married Elizabeth Wright on 1 Jun 1841 Holme, Huntingdonshire,
Brides father: Robert Wright

Yes.. looks like it may that Sarah died and Benjamin re-married as the family is in
Huntingdonshire - Holme Farm, Holme, Peterborough, Huntingdonshire in the 1841

1841 census he is with Elizabeth in Holme and plus four children, here are three of their baptisms, can't find George

Wow thank you so much for the information. I knew he married a Sarah Stokes and remarried a Elizabeth but I just could not find the marriage for him and Sarah anywhere!    I have that he was a agr labourer and that was about it.   Sorry if I confused anyone with my dates.....im a bit out of touch with it all. I appreciate all of your help!   Sarah had a son called Johnson Slote but for some reason I have written down that his father was NOT Benjamin so I was looking for the information I must have come across before to give me that impression so I was trying to start from Sarah and benjamins wedding and work from there.
