Marriage of Caroline Amelia Burton in Maldon area 1877 Completed

Hello

I'm hoping to find the marriage of  Caroline Amelia Burton (born 1854 Portsea Hampshire) and Christian Frank Hansen (born Belgium C1857) in the Maldon area in 1877. After 1881 I can find no clear sighting of the family until their deaths in Surrey.

Do you mean you are looking for the full marriage details as it's not clear from your post.

If so - to lookup a marriage in the parish records you have to know which church it took place in

Yes, I've looked in FreeReg and FamilySearch. The county of Essex is not my familiar stamping ground so was hoping someone would be able to point me towards records that would help me find the full marriage cert.

I'm just curious about this side twig to my family tree. ;)

Marriage Locator seems to indicate the marriage took place in either Maldon All Saints and St Peter or Maldon St Mary in Dec Q 1877.

They were married in All Saints Maldon on December 27th 1877
He was 21 and she was 24
He came from Forest Gate and occupation was Clark. His father was Iwer Hansen, merchant.
She was from St. Peter Maldon and father was Isaac  Burton, clerk.
Both single
Witnesses, Isaac Burton and Jane Maria Mead.

The Christian and Caroline Anson don't seem to fit  :(

By 1881 my Christian and Caroline had two children Nellie Virginie born Nov 1878 and Iwer Peter born Feb 1881- both in the West Ham district.

The family in 1891 have a son called Christian born 1880. Plus Christian senior is from Denmark not Belgium and Caroline has also changed birth place.

The 1891 Christian and Caroline also appear in 1881 with their son Christian  :(
