Perhaps have a look at Frances Lord, enumerated in Marylebone in 1841 as 50 b Foreign Parts.

She's with a Joseph Lord, 50.

Goodness there's not much to go on is there?!  Do we know how old she was in 1859?

There is a Frances Lord age 50 in St Marylebone 1841 from foreign parts - maybe Francoise mistaken for Frances  :-\
There's a Joseph Lord age 50 listed above.
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

Jamison has another recent thread (Ann Thilthorpe) on which Francoise is mentioned as having possibly witnessed an 1824 marriage.  Sorry can't link on my current device.

That couple possibly still in the same area 1851 lodger down for Joseph age 65 wife Frances 61 tho both are down as born Lancashire.

I thought occupation was tenants children but on closer inspection looks like pension chelsea.
They are squeezed on one line of the census so hard to make out her name - how anyone even got Frances is beyond me!

Hello
I know it is not much to go on but...
I appreciate all your effort in helping me out.
I can't get to England until next year but if l have something then l can fish for more detailed info. when l am there and shell out some pounds for any possible documents.
2nd life guards for Joseph Lord is something to go on as it fits with Ann Thilthorpe and her first husband Matthew Thilthorpe (soldier) and her second husband Charles Dryden for sure in the 2nd Life guards.
Thanks again !!!
Jamison
