Sussex is a very large county so if you could give some idea of where and possible dates it would help.

I have Bonifaces in my family, and have done a lot of research on them.

There seem to be two main lines, one in West Sussex and one in East. I am sure that if you go back far enough they may well share origins.
Boniface is a very common name in Sussex, there are a lot of the about. And as Sillgen has said, it is a big county!

If you can give some dates and places, e.g year of birth and place of birth of the Edward Boniface, Stephen Boniface and Leslie Boniface that you list, and a bit more about them, then I will have a look and see if they are ones that have come up in my research.
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Hi There,

The reason that I am interested in the Boniface line, is that I recently found an old letter in my grandfathers suitcase. Im sure the sender is a Boniface and from Sussex.

Anyway, all I know so far is this

*************************************
*************************************

Asteriks denote, two names i removed because they still may be alive.

They are the children of Edward W Boniface, and Joyce H Shadwell who were married in 1944 Hackney London.

Im not sure of the correct birth Date or location for Edward W Boniface, but im making an assumption he would of been born around the same time as Joyce (1924).

Not much to go on, but a start.

Cheers.

You will need to remove these names as they may still be alive.

A quick look through my Boniface stuff doesn't reveal this pair. But I'll try and keep it in mind.
I haven't done any Boniface work for a while!
