Thank you KHP and Minniehaha for your replies.

The death of Henry in 1871 as Henry Trefett FLOWER looks to fit for being the husband of Margaret.

Now I think that Henry and Margaret had 4 sons, Alfred, John born in Wales, Henry born in England and Thomas born in New Zealand.

It is interesting about the child Fanny. I will have to follow this up.

The newspaper article about Henry FLOWER, the father of Isabella I think is Henry FLOWER born 1841 in England but I am not certain.

This might help you get somewhere with the Nelson deaths .... looking at Isabella's one the place is St Johns Hira, well that is going by my resources!

Thank you for your reply. I think that the FLOWER family are buried in Hira, Murchinson and some of the other cemeteries in the Nelson area.

I am trying to trace the FLOWER children in reply #1. I have information on Alfred William FLOWER but none on his siblings. I am not sure if his brothers Henry and William married. Also I am not sure how to trace the unnamed child.

Henry born 1861 looks to die in 1942 and I have not yet found the death for William.

If there is any more information on Fanny Huist FLOWER I would be interested. I so far not found any more on her.

Helen, I can't see anymore on her either, just a scenario, wonder if she died as a wee one, or could have been adopted out.

Hi all
Thank you for your replies.

The photo of Margaret and Henry FLOWER site helped confirm some of my information.

So far I have Henry son of Margaret and Henry married to a Ellen/Helen ANDERSON ( she died 1909) and Henry Truefitt FLOWER son of John and Christiana FLOWER married to Mary Ann ROSS.

So am I correct that Henry FLOWER son of Alfred and Ellen FLOWER did not marry?
