Dewsbury Hooley

I am trying to gather information on the parents of my grandfather Samuel Hooley born 12/09/1890 Dewsbury, information I have from my mother Irene Rose Hooley is he was married twice first to a Susannah Rowley then to Esther Robinson Birch, I can confirm the marriages but the 1881 census for Dewsbury  looks to have mis-spelled information .

I believe this is the family I am looking for , does anybody have any more information on this family, any help appreciated.

Hi: I, too, am researching the Hooleys of Dewsbury, who seem to be somewhat elusive -especially Major (name not a title) Ernest Hooley, who married at least twice and seems to have run out on a third relationship. My Samuel Hooley was born in 1891, son of Joseph and Esther and with four siblings: Sarah, Ernest, Elizabeth and Joseph. The connection to my line is a Hooley marriage to a Fanny Newsome who is a direct ancestor. Any information on the Hooleys would be exceedingly welcome. Cheers, Tony
