Did Angus go to Pei Canada

John McLean and Isobel Thomson married 1818
children Christian, John, James and Angus
1819, 1821, 1823 and 1826.

I'm trying to determine if this could be the same Angus who shows up on the 1881 census for Pei Canada.
The Pei Angus was married to Sarah McGillivray bef 1855 with daughter Isabella born on Pei.

Curious as to what makes you think this could be Angus' family?

However, I see from the Census they were listed as both being Catholic so they would have been buried in a Catholic Cemetery see below.  Have you ever contacted them regarding Angus?  You might get lucky and his father's name or his birthplace is on the stone or in their records.

I found this Angus of Bute in a family tree for my Angus and am actually trying to find anything that would prove he is not the right man.
If I can find Angus of Bute living after 1855 in Scotland I will know there is a mistake.
I will contact the church/cemetery in Cardigan. I don't think there is a stone for her. I believe Angus died sometime before 1891, as I don't find him in the census.
He lived in lot 40 which is the next township over from Cardigan.
There is a Sarah McLean living with her nephew Neil McGillivray in Cardigan in 1891. It is likely her McGillivray family arranged  her burial.
