i am trying to trace william laithwaite born 1839 inatherton/chowbent
If any one could find himand any parents in the 1841 or1851 census
 i would be grateful

William Laithwaite, 2 yrs.    all born in the county.


HO107/2205 folio 368 - 1851

Alderford, Atherton

Peter Reeve, head, widow, 48 yrs. Silk Weaver
Sarah Higson, (no relationship given), married, 36yrs. Silk Weaver.
Samuel Higson, son, 2 yrs.
Lydie Howarth, lodger, single, 30 yrs. Silk Weaver.
James Laithwaite, lodger, 17 yrs. Cotton Mule Piecer.
John Laithwaite, lodger, 14 yrs, Cotton Mule Piecer.
William Laithwaite, lodger, 11 yrs, Bolt Maker (App)
Mary Heartley, lodger, 60 yrs. Silk Weaver
William Heartley, lodger, 24 yrs. Cotton Stripper & Grinder

all born Atherton.

The only Betty Laithwaite I can see in 1851 in Atherton is

Elizabeth Laithwaite, servant, single, 39 yrs. born Atherton
at Barnfield House - Mary Ann Davis, School Mistress.
