John Dennis birth/ baptism please

Hello,
I am looking foer the parents of John Dennis c1806 Torpoint, Cornwall. 1841 he was living at 33 Stanhope Way, st. Clement Danes, Middlesex.  He died 26 Jan 1886 Somerset. Any help please.

Sorry my Cornish geography is rubbish but there is the following baptism on the FreeReg site: -

08/12/1806 St Martin's, Lewannick John Dennis son of John & Mary.

Hi there

Lewannick is about 28 miles from Torpoint, interesting that Cornwall OPC have that baptism shown with only mother Mary, in the notes it says BB ( baseborn?). Other baptisms on Cornwall OPC around that time frame are also from parishes not that close to Torpoint. It may be a possibility that he was baptised in Devon as the border is only 1 mile away (list of nearby places can be found on genuki http://www.genuki.org.uk/cgi-bin/places?CON,SX438552,5,Torpoint)

There are a number of trees on ancestry containing John Dennis - none have his parentage, but they do claim sight of the record of his marriage to Mary Joll in 1828 and have a date of birth for him of 30 August 1806 (but no source given)

the marriage appears to be in Antony, Cornwall 24 Sep 1827.

Torpoint parish was created out of Antony in 1819

The couples' son John Joll Dennis was baptised 7 March 1830 in Stoke Damerel, abode noted as Torpoint.
