FTM 2 for Mac - can not access the publish workspace

For some reason when I click the Publish button on my toolbar nothing happens and I can not get into the publish workspace in order to customise my charts.  In fact none of the buttons on that toolbar seem to work.  They did when I first installed the programme and I think the problem may have started following updates to my Mac's operating system.

I have checked for updates to FTM that may have fixed the bug (if that's what it is) but get the message Family Tree Maker 2 21.2.8 is currently the newest version available.

Does anyone know a way round this?

I would try running Disk Utility and repair permissions,  that may cure it.  Alternatively you may have to create a new profile.
