Genealogy courses

Has anyone done one of these courses on genealogy, there is quite a few on offer, get a certificate at the end of it. They seem to be around £300, are they worth it?
I have been doing ancestry for quite a few years now, so am quite experienced but as with everything there is always new stuff to learn, just considering it.

one of these courses on genealogy
Which courses exactly are you thinking about?

There was a thread a few weeks ago about a free FutureLearn course
https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/categories/history

Use the RC search function & put in Futurelearn, several threads come up - worth trying a free one first?

Locally there is a family history group with the U3A, also free.

I agree there is always something to be learnt - I learn something from rootschat almost every time I log in  :D

I'd give the free course a go first Cazza and then if you enjoy it, look at a course that you pay for.
