William FOYLE

Looking for any details on William FOYLE Born C1757, Died 10/7/1847 in New Norfolk, Tasmania.
William was convicted on the 9/7/1785 at New Sarum, Wiltshire for stealing a box of money, his sentence was Death commuted to seven years, after spending time in the hulk the Bismark he departed on the first fleeter ship the Charlotte bound for Port Jackson, N.S.W then on to Norfolk Island, where he resided for some 21 years, his final journey was to New Norfolk, Tasmania where he farmed till his death in 1847.
Some of the details I would like to find out are the following, Who were his parents, and where was he born, would his trial doc's be available ? or any other pertinent information.

I have attached some documents, which you may already have. You probably have all the information below. I could not find Williams parents or trial transcripts. I am sure if these details exist, someone will let you know.

hi I too am researching  william foyle and would like to establish if he was married in england before transportation in 1788    very difficult to find information regarding his life in england , love to know more  thank you meryle maxwell

I'm putting this for information only.  I cannot be sure if this is the correct William.

Baptised on 19th April 1756 at Dinton, Wiltshire.  Parents are William and Elizabeth.  This is from a transcript only.

As William was convicted in New Sarum (Salisbury) this looks to be a good possibility.  Distance between Salisbury and Dinton is 8 miles.
