Hi,

Does anyone know where exactly Commonbog, Gowran parish, Co. Kilkenny is? Where is the nearest town? An ancestor, Martin Kavanagh, was born there in 1822 to John Kavanagh and Mary Rourk - any info on this couple?

Look for Gowran, Kilkenny on Bing Maps. Common Bog is about a mile north west of Gowran near Gallowshill
