chasing the wrong Robert sykes

I have spent a long time chasing the wrong ancestor,  my Robert Sykes wed Sarah Harrison 1807 Silkstone,  the one I thought it was was Robert Sykes who was still having children with a woman called Mary, in 1806 amd 1811, Mary Sykes died 1813 all im Barmsley.
so where does my Robert come from,  and was he a bit of a lad, and had two families.
Sarah Harison was born 1787 at Worsbrough, so where was Robert Sykes
