Burial Records for Huyton.
« on: Monday 01 February 16 16:50 GMT (UK) »
Looking for the burial of a Henrietta Lancaster, dies 126 Smithdown Road.

Have looked in all Liverpool Cemeteries and she is not there.

Discovered her son lived in Huyton. Does any member know where the burial records are for Huyton??

Wait with baited breath.

Hi

It would help if you could give a time scale for her death.

That was Sefton General Hospital - what was her home address?

If you know the full date of death you can ask Liverpool Records Office to do a cemetary search for you but they make a charge for that service

If you have the actual date of death and if this is a 20th century death I would try looking in something like the Liverpool Echo around the date of death to see if her death is announced and where internment was to be. The newspaper I'd on film at Liverpool Central Library.

Hello Roots Chatters,

Thanks for the reply. Have looked in all the Liverpool cemeteries, Toxteth, Allerton, Anfield, West Derby, Kirkdale and nothing.

Her son lived in Huyton, so thought give that a search. But on ringing Huyton library, the lady said they don't have any records for burials in Huyton!!, and she didn't know where they were kept.

So I was wondering where about are Huyton burial records are kept.

 :P

Hi

Have you read the first reply by genechaser?

Until we know what year she died - we don't know what records are available

SORRY,

She died on 18th September 1950 at 126 Smithdown Road.

But her son, William Yates was living at 116 Barkbeth Road Huyton.

Apologies again.

Hi

I think Gibel's reply at #4 is probably your best option if you have tried all the Liverpool ones.

Was this in the Liverpool records office?
