Ada Annie Smith in New York and New Jersey

In 1914 Ada Annie Smith, born 27Feb1894 in Stoke upon Tremt, England, emigrated to USA aboard RMS Lusitania arriving New york Oct 31. She resided in New York until 1926 then moved to New Jersey. In 1944 she lived in Ridgefield Park and is believed to have died in Bergen, New Jersey in 1967.
On the re-entry document which contained this info there is as reference to a previous surname NARUI. We did believe she was married in the US but can find no reference.

Is anyone able to help us please?

I'm struggling to pick up Ada on the passenger lists but I think I may have found the marriage:

Ada A Smith O-D 1914 St Giles, London 1b 1231 spouse Yoshi Narui

I'm not sure how this ties in but it must be where the Narui reference comes from.

That is confusing, but gives us another lead. I never thought of looking there as she was supposed to be in US at the time.

WWI draft registration card for Yoshijiro Narui gives birthdate as 15 Mar.1881, occupation as cook & butler, and wife Annie-

There's a Yoshi Narui in 1930 census born Japan and servant for private family but age 40, single & came to U.S. 1904-

It looks like they may have divorced , or at least split up. Here is Ada Annie Smith b 1893 England , housekeeper and single in 1940.

CB53 - Thats what we thought as it was 'formerly NARUI' on our original document.
