Are all these people no longer alive as we are not allowed to mention living people on Rootschat?

Sorry - I don't know if any of them are alive.
How can I find out if I don't search on a family history site?
Geoff.

Have you tried Freebmd to see if there is another marriage or a death? There is a marriage for the daughter in 1972.

Hi Geoff

Rootschat has a clearly defined 'no living people' policy, details of which have been posted by groom.

The name of the lady you are looking for has been removed as she may still be alive.

Henry J Byford, possibly the Joe you mention, died in Kensington district in 1965.

you could try a free electoral register search here

http://www.searchelectoralroll.co.uk/Electoral_Roll_Search.asp

but she may have remarried and changed her surname.

Thanks to those who replied, especially the reminder about the rules.
I am now discontinuing this matter as it was to help an aged relative.
They will now pursue the matter on their own.
Maybe the Moderator would like to delete the entire thread?
Regards from
Geoff.

Hi Geoff

I won't delete the topic, someone may find it in the future through an internet search engine and try to make contact. But I will move it to the completed section.
