« on: Wednesday 10 February 16 13:40 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for the origins of Martha  TOWNSEND who married John WARD at Shernbourne 8th Nov. 1778.
They had four children all christened at Shernbourne,  Where they both came from I do not know.  Anyone else have these in their research ?  Wife's 5 x GGrandparents.

The marriage entry on FreeReg says both John and Martha were of Shernborne parish. There are two entries - the Archbishops' Transcripts gives them as Martha Townshend and John Ward and the St Peter & St Paul's entry has him as John Wardle.
