Help with identifying WW2 Home Guard cap badge
« on: Tuesday 23 February 16 18:27 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Does anyone know the cap badge worn by an officer in 19th (Farningham) Bn Kent Home Guard during WW2?

The specific regimental cap badge and a picture would be fantastic.

Thank you,

Charles

Hi,
Thank you for your response. I have the booklet you mention which I have read, but unfortunately there is no clue as to the cap badge the soldiers or officers wore.
Best wishes,
Charles

Good evening,

Home guard cap badges are as listed here, http://home-guard.org.uk/hg/strucbadgec.html

There does not appear to be any difference between officers and men.

The fictitious platoon of Dad's Army wear the same cap badge.
