Trying to establish whether Roelke Keizer who died prior to 2015 is buried with his wife Mysie Annie Keizer who was buried in St. John's Churchyard, Wakefield on the 25 November 2015.

Hi Barrie

This listing from NZ BDM (online) - Deaths :

2004 - KEIZER - Roelke - 76 years - d.o.b. 8/5/1928

And this burial listing from Headstone Transcriptions for Heights Park Cemetery, Pukekohe (Auckland):    ???

Row F - # 81
Roel KEIZER  -   (White Cross)

[Note:  Above is all the information that is given in the transcription (i.e.  there is no date or even year of death given).   Source:  NZ Cemetery Records ex ancestry.com  ]

Hi again

... it occurred to me after posting previous info, that "Roel" and "Roelke" quite possibly were two different people ??

Checking electoral rolls up to 1981, I see there are indeed listings for both men (at Tasman > Richmond, for Roelke, occupation: Ranger) and for Roel, occ: chef, at Auckland.

[Further, Archives New Zealand hold a Probate Record for Roel KEIZER, chef, of Pukekawa, Year: 1996.  Very probably then, it is he who is buried at Pukekohe ?? ]

Hi Barrie

I see there is an online death notice available for Mysie KEIZER.
My suggestion would be that you contact the (Nelson) Funeral Directors mentioned, who may be able to assist with further information re: her late husband.

:) Hi Lucy, Man that is faster than believable!! Yes I have the details re Mysie, Wakefield  and Roel who was buried at Heights Park Cemetery, Pukekohe but the death of Roelke, the father of Roel, his and Mysie's son was new. Had intended to check out with the Funeral Directors when down south in the near future and certainly will do so now.

Naturally I am deeply appreciative of your help. A leap forward associated with yesterday's Leap Day.
