1921 census lookup please

Hi,
I am looking for the following two men:
Alfred Duncan West b 1873 Ontario died 1923 in Revelstoke BC.
John Richard (Jack) West b 1867 place Unknown but was placed in BC in 1923
They are brothers, I have the death details of Alfred and Jack was the informant.
Any help,would be great

John West (Jack) was still in Revelstoke BC in 1939 when he passed on - W Maxwell a government agent was the informant on Johns death.

Hello  if you might be interested B C Archives has a probate/estate file for John Richard West.

You can send for this at access@bcarchives.bc.ca or mail in a request to B C Archives,675 Belleville St.
Victoria , BC V8W 9W2. They will contact you beforehand as to the cost .
It is approximately $30.00 Canadian. They also accept credit cards.

I see from Alfred's death registration that he was widowed. They can also check to see if there is a probate file for Alfred.

Hi and thank you,I have John's death certificate, I was hoping that if they were on the census it may throw light on their lives during that period.
Money is tight here so I will have to consider the probate issue, but thanks again.
I wanted to know if they were living with anyone or where they lived and what they were doing.
Any further help would be much appreciated.

Alfred Duncan West born 30 Aug 1874 Muskoka married Gertrude Lillian Arris 16 Nov 1908 Parry Sound.  They had 2 children born Parry Sound, Rosina Elizabeth 10 Mar 1909 & John Richard 10 Apr 1911.  No trace of any of these in 1921 census.

Death registration for Alfred indicates he had lived in BC since 1903 and John lived there since 1905.

Not sure the marriage posted for Alfred is correct. No luck finding either of them on 1921 census.

Death registrations indicate they were lumbermen so may have been in lumber camps and missed being enumerated.

Thanks for your ongoing help. Alfred did marry Gertrude Ariss but he was widowed in 1916, it seems he left Ontario way before then so goodness knows what happened. I do know his children were brought up by other relatives. John is more of a mystery, do either of them appear on the 1911
Census? Maybe not for the same reasons.

The family were in Rosseau Parry Sound when the birth of John (Jack) Richard West was registered.
No sign on census. (everything but census at mo  )
