Didn't find as much as I'd hoped on Archibald Martin in Ballymoney. The only directory in which I could see him listed is 1888 Bassett's Book of Antrim (A Martin, Church St., spirit retailer's).

Better luck with the Valuation Revision Books-

Church St. (Townparks townland)
1865-1875
   8. Jane Hamilton
   11. Archibald Martin appears 1874? (difficult to decipher)
1876-1884
   8. Richard Martin
   11. Archibald Martin
1884-1894
   8. Robert C. Martin, house yard & small garden (solicitor)
   11. Archd Martin, public house, house off. & yard (changed to James Neill 1890)

Think I can help with Death of Anna Martin.Found the following information in Ballynure Old Church Gravestones: http://www.ulsterancestry.com:

This was also included:
Martin Erected by Sarah Neill in memory of her beloved mother Ann Martin who died 15 Oct 1850 aged 44 years. And her father Archibald Martin who died 28 Apr 1889 aged 68 years. Also the above Sarah Neill who died 26 Feb 1896 aged 47 years.

Connection with me?Sarah Neill is my husband's great grandmother on the maternal line. Her daughter also called Sarah emigrated to Australia in 1914, 5 weeks after declaration of WW1.
Henry - Neill - Sharpe.

Hi justipeachijo,
I composed a long reply which disappeared just before I hit send.
Anyway, I thank you so very much for this valued information about Anna. She died so young but I see she was much older than her husband at time of marriage. Do you have her date of marriage - I just have the marriage bond?
Do you have further information about Anna, such as her parents and place of birth? I have her maiden name as Lawson, same as my ggg grandmother and would love to fit her into the picture.
Although I have the dates of death of all of Anna's children, I don't have the exact dates of birth of the Martin children. Then I do have the dates of birth of all of Sarah Neill's children but not the dates of death. In particular, I have info on Archibald James Martin Neill's visit to New York and return but not what happened after that.
Perhaps we can exchange info by PM.
And thank you, thank you, thank you for this info on Anna.

Peggy

New members need at least 2 posts to use PM system- that's the error message you get when their post count isn't high enough.

Thank you Aghadowey for the explanation..  It is strange though that when I sent the first private message it seemed to go through and only when I sent the second private message did I get this message saying that the inbox was full. Ok, I will do something different.
 Thanks again

This is for justipeachijo. I am hoping to hear from her again.

Do you have further information about Anna, such as her parents and place of birth? Exact date of birth.  Perhaps some of her siblings, anything? I have her maiden name as Lawson, same as my ggg grandmother and would love to fit her into the picture.
Although I have the dates of death of all of Anna's children, I don't have the exact dates of birth of the Martin children.
Thanks for anything you can share with me.
