Wilford Hill Cemetery

Hello Nottinghamshire,
I have found a burial record on Deceased on Line and I am thinking of visiting the Wilford Hill Cemetery. Please could you tell me whether there are maps around the place that will help me to locate the grave I am after? I couldn't see any on line and I don't want to waste a journey if there is no help when I get there.

It's  may be best to ring or email them with grave details and they will make the grave and send you a map to locate it.  There is an office just inside the gate you could go in there on the day and they will give you a map.

Good to know there is an office. I tried to ring today but got a message saying there was no one to take the call. I was hoping to go tomorrow so haven't really left myself much time to organise. I know the section and grave number so was hoping there would be some maps or signs around. Still hopefully the office will be open and they can point me in the right direction,

Well that place was a joy to visit compared to some I have been to! Although it's a very big cemetery it is very well marked out on one simple grid and the people working in the grounds were really friendly and helpful. It all looks well cared for too.
