My granddads' dad Thomas Bernard Flynn was born 1988/89 and died 1932 (stoke on trent - Married Emma Flynn (Bettany)

Im trying to trace his parents, and hopefully his dads father too, can anybody help me please.

Think you mean 1888/89

Have you looked for a birth for him on freebmd - presuming he was born in England/Wales  www.freebmd.org.uk

Have you looked for him on the 1911 census?

If born in Ireland - have you looked on the Irish 1901/1911 which is free here

Freebmd shows the marriage as 1924 so do you have a copy of the cert showing his fathers name?

His death record in 1932 has him aged 33 and therefore born c. 1899

Just beat me to it - freebmd has his birth in the Sept qtr 1898 in Stoke which is where he married.

Yes longton area is correct.

Ive found a thomas flynn born 1860 martha flynn born 1860
And a thomas bernard flynn 1899 on a census but when i go back to trace his dad the dob changes slightly so its throwing me off
