This is even more of a mystery to me.  From your previous dates, I'm guessing 1880s?

1880's but difficult to say which part. Realistically it could be as early as 1883 or as late as 1889.
The girl is about 16 going by her skirt length so possibly mother & daughter.
I would suggest that all of the tintypes originated in Canada as they didn't enjoy any popularity amongst studio photographers in the UK.
It's better for us if you can scan them higher & leave out the white space.

I reduced file size to submit, and could have cropped. Good to know.  Will do that in future.
