Hi!
    Can anyone help with any of the following?

I have a Sophia Collins/Collings possibly born 1787/8 at Framlingham, Suffolk? I think Sophia married in 1811 at Framlingham a Adam John Neal (he may have been a soldier?).

Trying to obtain Sophias parentage or marriage details?

Adam and Sophia later moved to Sunderland, Durham and had four children what I have traced:

James Neal baptised 1815 Framlingham

Matthew Neal baptised 25th May 1817 Framlingham

Robert Neal born 1st August 1819 Sunderland

Sophia Neal born 8th September 1822 Sunderland

There is a death record for a Sophia Neal born 1787/8 died 1850 Sunderland, and also that of her husband Adam in 1852, Sunderland.

Adam Neal may have been born in Scotland around 1783/5.

Any help much appreciated!

Hi,

I don't have much to offer you, but the marriage is recorded in the Framlingham register as;

26-9-1811 Adam John Neal, of Marlesford, to Sophia Collings, Framlingham St.Michael.
The is no mention of Adam being a soldier.

And also another child of Adam and Sophia:
John s/o John and Sophia Neale late Collins privately baptised 14th August 1812
