« on: Tuesday 12 April 16 14:03 BST (UK) »
I have this https://familysearch.org/search/record/results?count=20&query=%2Bgivenname%3A%22william%20%20hosking%22~%20%2Bsurname%3Arule~%20%2Bbirth_place%3Acornwall~
and at the bottom of the page there is a William Hosking Rule tree with parents Henry Davy Rule and Elizabeth Hosking.
Henry Davy Rule is the tree that  am interested in and I haven't found a William Hosking Rule.
Bap 1852.
In 1851 Henry D bap bap 1812 is here with his family http://www.freecen.org.uk/cgi/search.pl
In 1861 Henry D bap 1812 is here with his family http://www.freecen.org.uk/cgi/search.pl
Henry D son Bap 1837 married Jane Hancock.
Richard son 1840 married Catherine?
Thomas Hosking son 1842. Looking into him at the moment.
Caroline Rule dau1845 emigrated to New Zealand.
John Rule son 1848 married Jane?
Elizabeth Ann dau1849 married William James.
Frances Jane dau1855 married twice.
Peter H Rule son 1857 possible death Camborne.
So no William Hosking Rule. Possible mistake on the contributer?

I can't see a William Rule with Henry and Elizabeth in the 1861 Census. There is a William H Rule with William and Jane Rule in 1861.
UK: Lee, Swift
CON: Davey, Harding, Hocking, Rule, Whinnen
AUST: McIntosh

Thanks for that.
I think that the information in that tree is incorrect. I looked at the death of William that you suggested  and no father is mentioned.

This appears to be  the same family as the link below and some cross over of info may occur.
