Help to check my results

My GGGGF Joseph Davies was born 1796 St Martins Shropshire

He married a Sarah Knowles (b.1799 Cheshire)

They were married in 1821 at St Oswalds, Chester.

I think I have found Joseph's parents but want to check that I'm correct.

Can anyone check that I have this correct

Robert Davies born 1773, listed as The Rock, Shropshire? And
Sarah Davies.

As far as I know Davies was Sarah's maiden name too!
I don't have a date of birth or location for her though.

Yes I agree all those details. Took a while to work out what xtend was  its christened

I keep hitting a brick wall, I've now come to a halt as I'm completely confused going further back and finding Roberts parents.

I've never heard of the Rock before, think I will look into it a bit more.

It's not the Rock Telford, it's the Rock St Martins. Either way I've still never heard of it.

Robert's parents are Robert (a sawyer) and Mary

Did a search and there was a thread before that mentioned The Rock, well worth a look I think

Yes, I found his parents were Robert and Mary, I have no maiden name for her and I have no dates of birth for either.

Then when I was searching I think Robert and Mary also had 2 other children, Ann (b.1770) and Rebecca (b.1775) but I'm not sure, but then I'm sure Robert was married previously to a woman named Ann and they had 1 daughter Mary! I'm really not sure on it all though.
