John C Marshall born 1852 Canterbury, parents Charles and Ellen Marshall. On the 1861/71 census John appears to be living with his Uncle and Aunt in Ickham Kent. On the 1861 census his sister Mary Ellen is also living with them. The relatives names are John Coombs born 1832 Ickham and Sarah Ann Coombs born 1829 Canterbury.
Now John's father Charles had a sister called Sarah Ann Marshall born 1828 (c) Canterbury. I am having great trouble finding a marriage between John Coombs and Sarah Ann Marshall.
Hoping some one with a fresh pair of eyes may find one.
