Catherine McNally born 1790 - Ireland

Hello

 - I really want to put this onto a board where it is general in Ireland as I have no idea about the county . . .   (and I do hope I haven't posted this request before as my referencing and citing is not up to scratch.)

I have found a birth of Catherine McNally to Henry and Alice McNally on 6 Jan 1790 in Ireland  (IGI Family Search.)   That is all I know.  I would love to know how to follow this particular person forward and see if by any chance she left Ireland, or married and remained there. 

She is the right name and the right birth year for someone I am looking for in Tasmania - I just need to rule her out or in . . .  any help gratefully received . . . and  . . .
Please forgive me if I've posted this before - I have been searching but can't find any previous search.

I have found a birth of Catherine McNally to Henry and Alice McNally on 6 Jan 1790 in Ireland  (IGI Family Search.)
I can't get it to come up on Family Search but sounds like it could have been from the old Pedigree Resource Files (submitted records)

Thanks Aghadowey -  that link is my own thread for this same lady inTasmania . . . But we don't know how or when she arrived in Aus/ Tasmania.  Not sure where she came from, so I did a world search for her for the years of her birth and came up with the above mentioned.
(  It could be that she was actually born in Aus, but can't find a record. . . . And most things were recorded in our small penal community of those days!).   MYSTERY WOMAN


I found that record on the indexed list on Family Search.  I don't like using the contributed/submitted records much.

This is the record for Catherine McNally born 1790 Ireland-

it is a SUBMITTED record-
"Information for over 430 million ancestors contributed by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Each record contains one event, including birth, baptism (christening), marriage, or death."

It was submitted in 2011-
"Submitted 19/01/2011 by smcnally2844"

Since there are no ancestors of parents, husband or children for Catherine it is possibly extracted from a church record (i.e. not part of a larger family tree)- the birth years for the parents may just be estimated.

Clicking on father Henry's name brings up this as source- "Submitted 12/06/2012 by unknown38379" so parents' details may have been added later.

Going back to Catherine's record- using the search box (upper right corne of tree) you'll see other McNallys submitted.

It says  Community indexed - I understood indexed to indicate that is was from records - am I barking up the wrong tree??

Not much to go on there is there. 

 I was hoping it would be possible to bring her forward - find a marriage  or death for her in Ireland maybe, so I could rule her out of my searches.   I am trying to narrow my field! 

If it isn't coming from a church record, well . . .  could be right or wrong. 

 McNallys in our family stop in 1857 with Catherine's death as Mrs Von Stieglitz in Tasmania.

That's the one I was looking for and couldn't find - sorry to have posted the same request twice.  Lack of discipline in referencing and recording my threads.   It is now recorded so I can find it again - thank you!
