Hi,
This is a real 'long-shot - but you never know.......... !
I am trying to trace the Jackson family, who by all accounts left Yorkshire for Ireland around 1880. It seems as though they were working for a wealthy family called Boyd-Rochford in Yorkshire and followed them over to Ireland. I can't find a Boyd-Rochford family in any of the UK census' so I am a bit stuck. There seems to be some of them in Ireland around 1910 - all connected with horse racing/studs.
Anyone heard of them ?
