Anyone related to this family on the 1851 Census.  I'm researching for my friend and Charles is his 2nd Gt Grandfather.

I've just recieved Charles Smith's marriage certificate and his father was William Smith a Wheelwright and this is the only William Smith a wheelwright that I can find, unless anyone can find another???

Have you looked on the Surname Interests Tab, (under Your Tools, below) for anyone researching Smiths from Hasbury?

Does Charles Smith always claim to have been born in Derby in later censuses?

There are some military papers for Charles Smith on FindMyPast which seem to show that in 1871 he was in Malta.
