I can't see a suitable marriage, or any Young births with mother's maiden name Marklow in England & Wales at any time. Have you checked the children's birth registrations on FreeBMD to confirm mother's maiden name?
Ayr: Barnes, Wylie
Caithness: MacGregor
Essex: Eldred (Pebmarsh)
Gloucs: Timbrell (Winchcomb)
Hants: Stares (Wickham)
Lincs: Maw, Jackson (Epworth, Belton)
London: Pierce
Suffolk: Markham (Framlingham)
Surrey: Gosling (Richmond)
Wilts: Matthews, Tarrant (Calne, Preshute)
Worcs: Milward (Redditch)
Yorks: Beaumont, Crook, Moore, Styring (Huddersfield); Middleton (Church Fenton); Exley, Gelder (High Hoyland); Barnes, Birchinall (Sheffield); Kenyon, Wood (Cumberworth/Denby Dale)

Are you sure the surname is Marklow and not Marklew (ties in with the 1966 birth registration)

In which case

Name:   Dennis G Young
Date of Registration:   Apr-May-Jun 1961
Registration district:   Frome
Inferred County:   Somerset
Spouse:   Pauline J Marklew
Volume Number:   7c
Page Number:   349

might be relevant in some way
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

You say that 2 of the children were born in the 1950's - are they all from the same marriage?

Where did you obtain the parents' names from?

Ancestry has 2 Young/Marklew births in the 1960's (Birmingham) and one in the 1920's (Aston).
