If you look further, as in "Learn more about this database", it will tell you:

This collection includes birth and christening records from England.

You can learn more about this collection at the FamilySearch website.

And running a search on FamilySearch.org will usually give you more information.

Presumably, it's this you are looking for?

If you click the name of the child you get a far more useful-looking record...

Ok, thank you, I suppose it would have helped if I had read further! I did see if you click on the name of the parent ( child not highlighted) it brings up the full detail
"Name:   Thos. Antcliffe
Gender:   Male
Baptism Date:   11 Feb 1752
Baptism Place:   East Markham,Nottingham,England
Father:   Luke Antcliffe
Mother:   Mary
FHL Film Number:   503792, 504064, 504521"

I am sure it used to be simpler than that though......I am getting old  ::)

I think the purpose of having it show like that is to highlight that a record for the baptism of a child also counts as a record for the parents, whether it be a proof of relationship or other details. For example, investigating the original record may reveal the occupation and current residence which is useful for your research.
