Hi wondering if someone can help me track William Baker and his wife Ann Ellis married 13 April 1809 at Kenton Exeter Devonshire England. I am also wanting to find out if any of their children were baptised at the same parish. Also was William and his wife Ann also baptised there also? Thanks heaps

William Baker b 1786 -parents given as Henry Baker and Elizabeth Searle -they married 1778 Kenton

1851 Ann Baker (nee Elllis} gives her p.o.b. as Thorverton Devon - Thorverton is approx 15 miles from Kenton

this looks like her in 1861 but p.o.b. is given as Kenton

Does the Searle family also come from the Kenton area do you know? Regards Lisa

th tree I mentioned gives marriage of Elizabeth Searle (sometimes Eliza) to Henry (Harry) Baker 13 Oct Kenton
It might be worth putting a post (and link it to this one) asking for parish records of marriage - it won't give parents but may give witnesses with a Searle name

The tree also gives Elizabeth's birth as 1758 Devon -whether this is just a guess (estimating she was 20 at time of marriage)?
There are quite a few Elizabeth Searles born around that time at varios places in Devon

Maybe ask if anyone has access to kenton records to see if there were any Searle families there
