Hi Jack
What a sad end.
The 1899 reports suggest Andrew had a brother

Do you know anything of him?

Andrew Curenit's wife was Mary Jane

http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/67055704 22 Sept 1899

Andrew belonged to York
Mary Jane belonged to New Norica
Andrew's cousin was Lizzie White (the lass who had fits)

ADD
Murajong is recorded in some of the newspapers Andrew's wife, I expect Mary Jane is simply an Anglo-spelling  :) ....  for example in this cutting:

A long shot for Andrew's brother  ...

An aboriginal named Freddie MEAD from Guildford who was involved with a discussion in which Bishop Gibney was giving views on better treatment of aboriginals.

Well, it seems Fred MEAD knew a little about Andrew.  Was he the informant on the death certificate you mention above?

When you say you think there was a connection to Henry MARTIN and family, what kind of connection do you mean?

Hi sue from an aboriginal genealogy done in 1904 by a woman named daisy bates
Their is a woman on there named wooleenan she had three children two girls and a boy
This woman wooleenan had a relationship with a henry martin and he was said to be the father of her daugther named sarah or clara martin she married fred mead after henry, wooleenan was said to have married a guildford local aboriginal man name mooryitch .
Henry or mooryitch could be the father of curenit but i have found a photo of the martin family with a young aboriginal man who is said to be fred mead and his wife who  looks alot like mary jane from other photos of her i have come arcoss so  the young man in the photo could be curenit from the relationship wooleenan had with henry martin of kelmscott wa

Some researchers have expressed concern about the veracity of the information/observations recorded by Daisy Bates, others have contradicted those concerns.

Here is some background information
