Ellen Burris/Mahoney death?
« on: Monday 27 June 16 14:56 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for a death on a woman named Ellen Burris, she was born in 1857 in Woodford, Victoria and married James Mahoney in 1880, and I have addresses for her in Shepparton until 1919. Can anyone please help me?

There's a death in 1918 of a James MAHONEY in Corio who was the relict of the late Ellen MAHONEY
and is to be buried at Colac Cemetery
http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article74475025

And this seems to be the death notice for his wife Ellen, wife of James of Alvie, aged 50 in 1907 in Corio

Ros,
Just to be certain ;D, I do not see this death as taking place in Corio, but in Colac as I have  listed.
I don't think the Corio man is the right chap.

KristenErin, I do not think the address in 1919 for Ellen MAHONEY could be the right person as she would have been gone for a good many years by 1919

The death on my index shows James MAHONEY died at Colac in 1918.

Alvie is near Colac.

I also wondered what evidence the OP had re the addresses in Shepparton to 1919.

Ros, sorry about the Corio, I meant Colac of course. I was at the same time reading about the Mahoney's in Corio St, Shepparton.
