Hello,

John Horton CHEW, aged 29, occupation Surgeon, Dentist & Apothecary, arrived steerage in New York from the UK aboard the Patrick Henry on 12/12/1863.    No trace of this gentleman has yet been retrieved in the UK, although there are suspicions who he might be........John Simon CHEW, born 1833, Rodborough, Gloucestershire, mother's maiden name "HORTON", parents actually Thomas and Elizabeth CHEW, occupation sometime given as "Dispenser"

Can anyone reveal what happened to him after he arrived please ??? ???
