So she married quite late in life.  Doubtful there were any children but you never know.  My great gran was 46 when she had my grandfather.  Hope the cold is getting better

Hi.
Thanks for that.
Have had info from our genealogy group leader about these two as follows:-

1932 was London to mombassa, destination kenya.

Every record seems to use a different combination of names/initals/birth years.

I’ll keep looking for caroline, but as she didn’t marry until 1945, she may have been in war effort work anywhere, but I would think possibly kenya.

Husband surname is weatherill, have tried to find him, but he remains a mystery. There is  w e weatherill with wife mrs n travelling he is a prison officer in kenya, but no proof he’s yours.

:-\But as her bro was a prison vicar I think it might be???????

Caroline e m weatherill died sept 1956 berkhampstead. Tried looking for him  around that area, but no success.

John campbill morgans mothers maiden name was Quinn, which confirms walters wife.

John was definitely clergy along with other members of the family. Born 15/9/1887/9?  buried 11/6/1969 nunton wilts wife was gwenellen. Found some newspaper items but can’t copy!!!!!!!!!  FindMyPast

Not found anything about her or the marriage?  ???

Essex chronicle fri 8 oct ordination states university college durham and Wycliffe college oxford. FindMyPast

London gazette 1917 made up to lieutenant FindMyPast

London gazette 1918 report about bravery FindMyPast

Nat arch. Record lieut Northumberland fusiliers 1914/1922. Regular army and emergency reserve officer. Can’t find this on ancestry or FindMyPast. But it suggests that if he was in durham at college, he might have joined up there. Needs proving.

17/8/1923 newspaper report about wedding at st.lawrence, priddy between jtc Quinn and miss p g harris. John was best man curate of Stowmarket parish church. FindMyPast.

There was one voyage where he was residing with a Quinn, this is possibly his son? They are likely to be related as mmn was Quinn.

Don't want you to spend valuable time on this, but if you do have a brainstorm & turn up anything, then much appreciated.

Thank You Diana

Strangely - there is another death in 1956 in Berkhamsted for an Emily F (Frances) Weatherill b 1875.  Possible connection?

Marriage 1903 in Yorkshire - Henry Weatherill to Emily Frances Turner
