Looking for a Patrick Carey from Ireland but have no information on place of birth. Patrick is said to have immigrated in 1850 but not sure if true. He came to Lebanon,Waupaca,Wisconsin and married Ann McCormick about 1855. I do know last name spelling could be different in Ireland. He is a mystery for no information from Ireland. Can anyone help in this matter. Greatly appreciated.
SORRY forgot birth date of 1827.

You'll need to check all possible U.S. resources looking for clues before starting to research in Ireland.

Are parents listed on marriage or death certificate?
Any details about Patrick on birth, marriage or death certificates of children?
Church records? gravestone? cemetery records?
Newspaper obituary? local history?
Have you tried contacting other descendants?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
