during the late 1800s benjamin whitehead of balsall common warwickshire was up before the warwick assizes for being drunk and in charge of a horse and cart.i understand his antics got into the local papers either leamington or kenilworth. but i cannot find anything.i was given one artican on him from a newspaper but lost it in a flood.tried and tried to find anything on his court visits i believe once he was fined 10 shillings for being drunk.
