George & Thomas SLINGO plus other families, CRONDALL

Hi, I am new to this site. I have traced my family to Crondall, but not sure how to progress further. I have details of some people in the 17 and 18th centuries, but my actual family emigrated to South Africa in 1850 and I am aware of their history. Family  names are Slingo, Penton, Pretty, Knight, Javes among others. I am specifically trying to find details about George Slingo, (1770-1842) and his son Thomas (1799 -?) He seems to have disappeared after he was released from a prison hulk in 1846 approx. Grateful for any help.

There is a George & Martha Slingo  baptizing children in Crondall between 1795 and 1812.

Thomas Slingo 17 Feb 1799 , parents George & Martha , ( aged 6 weeks at baptism )

There is no baptism listed for George Slingo senior.

I couldn't find any earlier Slingo baptisms in Hampshire.
