East Preston Workhouse Records

Please can anyone tell me where I might find admissions records for the East Preston Workhouse for 1840-41?  The Records at WSRO don't start until 1860.
Weston, Winnicott, Randall, Grout, Farndell, Thompson, Crunden, Crees, Abraham, Lawless

Have you asked WSRO if they know where the records are?

No, I asked about the Records and they just said it was all they had.

The Record Office have no knowledge of any other records!

The records probably weren't thought important enough to bother with keeping?
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)
