Trying to find parents of Mary HATTERSLEY, b.1865

Hello all,

I have a Mary Hattersley, born approx. 1865 in Thorpe Hesley marrying Thomas Parkin (miner) at Thorpe Hesley on 1st Jul 1883.
On this marriage record, Mary's father is said to be Thomas Hattersley (who had an occupation which looks like horse nail maker).

Despite having a father's name, year and place of birth, I can't seem to find the baptism of Mary Hattersley. I would really appreciate some help finding it - this isn't my blood relative, but someone who is directly related to my Great Uncle; who I'm doing some research for (for his 86th birthday).

I'm not sure about that Marriage as Daug Sarah was born c 1859.

Having said that I am unable  to find Thomas Hattersley in 1861 Census!

FreeBMD has a Marriage Reg Sept 1854 Rotherham, 9c 505
Thomas HATERSLEY and Mary BENNETT and Mary Ann FELLOWS on same page.
There is also one 1859 Wakefield 1859, Thomas HATTERSLEY/Mary CLARKSON on same page

I never thought to try that combination when looking for 1861 census!

I did wonder about that 1866 marriage with the age of Sarah but looking at the gap between James & Sarah wondered if Thomas married more than once. Not unknown for it to be even 3 times if he was unlucky enough to have wives who died in childbirth.

The marriage to Mary Clarkson is online and that Thomas is a sailor

One tree also has Sarah down as Sarah Wiley - different trees have different Marys as the wife of Thomas and different parents

edit - the only Sarah Whiley I can find born 1858 died 1858
