Robert Francis Driver

Trying to research the Drivers.  Not sure what part of England but were told Bristol at some stage.  Robert was born approx 1855 and immigrated to New Zealand or Australia before April 1876 as he married in NZ then.  He was a builder and possible had a third name of Helliot, Willard or Hilliot, just not quite sure which one.
Any help would be great.

Hi Yetti,

No immediate joy, I'm afraid.

I suggest that a good place to start to narrow down the possibilities would be to obtain his NZ marriage cert (since you know the date) or the "Notice of intention to marry" details (through National Archives) - both of which should yield some good clues.

Thanks for that.  Have seen the marriage certificate and it only has his wife's family as witnesses etc.  Will keep on searching.
