Hugh HUNTER and Anne LAVERY
« on: Friday 04 November 16 06:50 GMT (UK) »
Hello

Is there any way to locate an early NI marriage for this couple, most likely in Belfast c1840?

Hugh was a cabinetmaker/carpenter.

They had a daughter Mary Anne c1843 and son David Hy c1852.

No idea if there were others in between who did not survive.

By 1856 they were in England, where they had another son, William Warhim/Warham HUNTER (I have his details).

Thank you!

That first name Warhim/Warham/Warkim could have a connection to a Catherine Warham b 1835 Ireland living in Noel St Islington 1871 aged 36, she is a a sister in law staying with Clery family of that address. Could she have been a nanny or close friend from ireland

There is a start anyway goodluck

IF they were RC then try the online registers?
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Bride's name was Elizabeth Davis and it was non-Catholic marriage.
