Trying to find the Death of Removed Mansell born 1925.

He got married for a second time in 1961 reg. Wednesbury. so he  was alive then

His wife died in 1988 in Birmingham.

I am hoping to get his date of birth. He is redacted in the 1939 register.

Are you certain that he has actually died, at 91 he could still be alive?

Yes I thought about that after I posted it.Because his wife died such a long time ago I was assuming he would have died well maybe not.

There is this probate:

Removed   probate 01 July 2002   952059   died  14 April 2002   Grant only   Birmingham

but as my ancestry has just crashed I do not know how old this Mr Mansell was.

We now have the problem of course that if he is still alive his name needs to be removed from here!

As Chempat says, easiest way is to get his birth certificate. If you are quick you can get it for £6 from the GRO under their trial of issuing uncertified certificates.

I think I am going to accept he is still alive.

Yes Well I bought a Marriage certificate last week Robert Mansell(father Edward) to Sarah Ward 1930 Wellington and found its the wrong Robert so anyone who wants it can have it.

He is still alive, unless he has only recently passed away.

I'll send you a personal message.
