Hi

I looked at this earlier but got sidetracked. This is a possible for Rosanne's birth and fits with Rosie's info:

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FQ4Y-W73

This is a really excellent source for Irish records:

Couldn't find a female Mc/MacGuire name beginning Ros 1860 - 1865
IGI has Rosan McGuire, born 18 April 1862 in Paisley, parents James McGuire and Mary Murphy. SP has a matching listing.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Apologies - I always ignore those red banners telling me that another x posters have posted replies in the millisecond between me pressing 'quote' and the dialog box appearing. Looks as if you have hacked it.

Sorry folks, must not have used the wild card properly  ::)

Much preferred the Soundex option.

Glad it's been found!
