Well it seems that sending money to Canada is more troublesome than I thought it would be. I went to my Post Office today to get a Money Gram as apparently this was a safe way to send money. However it turns out that this is not acceptable to the Museum.

The phoning option is no good to me as I am deaf and use a text phone which means going through a third party. I can't see how a personal cheque would be any good as I wouldn't have thought it would be cash-able abroad.
The option left is something called a Money Order which they will accept but I can't seem to find out how to get one of these. If I put money order in the search field on the post office it pops up with postal orders.

It seems that I shall have to go back to the post office and ask about money orders instead. Hopefully I can get a refund on the money gram.
I'm beginning to wish I hadn't bothered with this!
