REDMAN & ASHFORD

Hello all, I was wondering if you could help me. My grandmother was called Joyce Lillian REDMAN. She married my grandfather and became Joyce Lilian ASHFORD. Due to family tension I don't have either of their birth dates (I believe she was 1931 and he 1918), where they were born or when they were married. I do have they Date of death, her in 1997 and he in 2005. Also, for Joyce I know her father was called Frank William Redman but there are quite a few so I'm not sure which one is which. I believe he was married to Lily May Harris. Any help would be so appreciated

Have you had a look for births and marriages on the Free BMD index? 

There is this Joyce L Redman born Clutton district Jun quarter 1931
Mothers maiden name Harris

So you need to look for a Frank William Redman marriage to Harris to find her parents - there is one in Clutton district Jun quarter 1928 
Bride is Lily M Harris

Hi! I just had a look and I can confirm that my grandmother was born in Clutton  , Somerset and they married in 1950 but I don't have any months or days.

Had a thought, the 1939 register on Find my past will give more exact birth dates but unfortunately I don't have access to that (only the free index)
